The situation is as follows: I have two computers on my desk and use them alternately, sometimes even in parallel. Obviously, I do not also want two monitors, two keyboards and two mice on the desk and therefore, I always need to switch the peripherals.

The GTX1070 graphics processing unit is the latest in Nvidias lineup. Apart from the GTX1080 and the Titan X, it’s the most powerful GPU to date. It consists of 7.2 (!) billion transistors, has 1920 ALU’s (Cuda Cores) and a total processing power of 6.5 teraflops. Thanks to the 16nm FinFET technology, it is also very efficient with a TDP of just 150 Watt.

I have recently used my Sony A6000 together with 1 zoom and 3 prime lenses on a safari in the Serengeti. The lenses are:
- Sigma 30mm f2.8
- Sigma 60mm f2.8
- Sony 16mm + UWA converter f2.8
- Sony 55-210mm f4.5-f6.3
In the following I will briefly explain why this camera/lens combination is not the best choice for such a trip.
